Joe Yuhre

You could say Joe Yuhre has been around, and this is not the first time he’s graced the Up the Creek stage with his presence. His emotional inner monologues vibe on his acoustic guitar, taking hearty inspiration from the works of John Mayer, Kings of Leon, and Modest Mouse. “My favorite song I’ve written is called ‘Look My Way,’” said Yuhre. “It’s about asking a beautiful girl on a date and the moments and thoughts leading up to it. I think it’s safe to say that a lot of guys can relate to it.”  Beginning his work in the early 2010’s, Yuhre kept his guitar close by his side playing local coffee shops, restaurants, and small events. He’s young, excited, and ready as ever to play acoustic renditions from his former band, Chrome Statues, and more originals. “Playing live music is such a fun experience because you spend all these hours writing songs in your room, and then you get to go out and play them for everyone.”
